 The Director

Md Ashraful Alam, whose screen-name is Ashraf Shisir, is a national Award Winning Independent Motion Picture and Film Professional, Human Rights Activists from Bangladesh. Education in IT and law, he is the jury of several international film festivals Published four books on literature and film.

Ashraf Shishir’s debut work includes a feature titled, THE INNOCENCE [Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo] which the longest fiction feature films in the world film history which take 200 shooting days of 10 years and have been screened in 15 International Film Festivals in 11 countries till date.

Meanwhile, his 2^nd feature THE CART [Gaariwala] released in 2015 and selected in more than 100 International Film Festivals in 33 Countries and won 26 International Awards from India, Chile, Italy, Spain and USA and the National Film Award, 3^rd feature film titled THE INNER SOUND [Gopon], Recipient of prestigious International Awards from Russia and India and selected in more than 25 International Film Festivals in 18 Countries till date is waiting for its worldwide release. Feature (Mid-length Feature) fiction film titled THE UNSUNG has been screened in more than 17 international film festivals till date, it was in Short Film Corner of Cannes Film Festival 2019.
